SMOKED CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP
Smoked Chicken Noodle Soup will warm up your soul. Start with smoked chicken from Edley’s and it’s a win for cold weather, under the weather, or eating on the better side kind of days.
INGREDIENTS
1 Pound Edley's Smoked Chicken
1 Package Bear Creek Chicken Noodle Soup Mix
2 Large Carrots (1 1/2 cups chopped)
Yellow Onion (1/2 Cup diced)
2 Packs Chicken Broth (64ox)
Olive Oil - 1 TBS
Salt & Pepper to taste
Fresh Thyme and Rosemary
RECIPE
In a large pot, heat 1 TBS of olive oil.
Add diced onion and cook until translucent.
Add carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add about a cup of the chicken broth or enough to submerge the carrots and boil until softened. About 5 minutes or until you can stab a carrot with a fork.
Add the remainder of the chicken broth and the package of the Bear Creek Chicken Noodle Soup Mix and stir until combined.
Bring it to a boil. Stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat to medium and let simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
Stir in Edley's Smoked Chicken and let heat for 2-3 minutes.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with your favorite crackers and garnish with fresh Thyme and Rosemary.
